The iCompost Solutions Composite Compost Bin is large capacity, open-top bin that will hold up to 36 cubic feet of yard debris. Easy to put together - the only tools you will need are a screwdriver and rubber mallet. Look impressive in the garden, especially in partially wooded settings. This fade-resistant unit will hold its deep rich color longer than wood, but overtime it will gradually develop an attractive, weathered appearance - like most gardeners! Composite timbers are impervious to pest and will not rot over time. The beefy-weight lumber is made from a proprietary blend of 60% post-consumer waste plastic resin and 40% natural fibers. Helpful Tips: Use a home-made wool topper during the cold winter months to help retain heat. Water pile during drought conditions and if you are going to dump food scraps in this bin, bury them in the center. Place on porous ground.
