The Compact ComposTumbler with Gear-Driven Crank is ergonomically designed, speeds up the natural decomposition process by increasing aeration through an advanced mixing process. Tumbling is accomplished along a central axis with the assistance of internal mixing fins that break up clumps, increasing the surface to volume ratio of the organic waste. An impressive, gear-driven crank mechanism with padded handle uses torque to effectively turn the drum. Aeration is achieved through screened vents on end caps and portals on the door. Optional sifter screen helps separate out finely-tectured, finished compost, leaving behind larger pieces and clumps that could benefit from additional cook time. Made in the USA.
