I’m sad to have to post a negative review. I didn’t think GBC was easy to work with. I found their pick up routine to inconsistent and confusing. It’s a pilot program for Appleton so for us getting used to the routine of getting our compost out on our pick up day.. that was different every month was a challenge. They abruptly canceled our service because I wasn’t prepared enough for them. They claimed I missed 3 pick ups, 1 we were out of town and I communicated that. And twice I accidentally left them in my open garage and they had to collect from there and not my front porch. For this I was cancelled without warning. I think they are doing good work but be aware when working with them their rules are extremely rigid and they clearly have a 0 tolerance policy. It’s too bad .. piloting a new program is a learning curve for everyone. But I think they are going to struggle with this lack of customer appreciation.

We are very happy with Greener Bay Compost! We have learned so much about the process and appreciate the education, the timely response to questions and the service in general. A friend taught us a little about composting but Greener Bay Compost makes participating so easy and affordable. And, less stinky food scraps in our garbage can makes for a very happy house!

Greener Bay Compost is a GREAT service available to our area. It makes composting food scraps very easy. It's clean, odorless, not any extra work and the "right thing to do". It was shocking to see how quickly we were able to fill up our first bucket. It made us realize how wasteful we have been in some of our food purchases and food preparation.
Cory communicates his knowledge of composting and is very compassionate about his business. It's great to see the City of De Pere entering into a Partnership with Greener Bay Compost for this type of recycling. This is definitely a win-win situation.

I had purchased a three month subscription for my wife's birthday two years ago, and we've been customers ever since. We had been exploring ways to decrease our carbon footprint. With our busy schedules, utilizing Greener Bay Compost's services was the perfect fit for us for us to accomplish that. We have learned a lot about food waste. The pickup process is incredibly easy. There have been times we've forgotten to put our buckets out and the owner has been responsive and was quick to arrange additional swaps. We take out our regular garbage a lot less. The cost is more than fair, and we've really enjoyed seeing their growth.

We love this service! We used to give our food scraps to my brother’s pigs and that’s when we really saw the amount of compostable material, we were keeping out of the landfills. We were limited on what we could give them, so I found Greener Bay Compost. It’s such simple and convenient service! It has significantly reduced the waste we are sending to the landfill. We used to put our garbage out every week now we do it once a month.

We are very grateful to Cory for making this service available. His enthusiasm and excellent service has helped us significantly reduce what we send to the landfill. We chose to retrofit a drawer in our kitchen island to accommodate the compost bucket and are all in! It can be difficult to know how one can make a positive impact on our environment and Greener Bay Compost is lighting the way. Thank you Cory and Greener Bay Compost!

We joined Greener Bay Compost to be part of our environment’s sustainability and we are so proud to say we are part of this incredible service and its mission. We have had several friends join this service on our recommendation. Cory is such an excellent resource as to proper composting and he is very prompt in his response to questions. The process is easy and the bucket swaps go smoothly. We love that pizza boxes can now be picked up and composted. We used the resulting compost while doing some landscaping last summer and the plants thrived. Thank you, Cory for your passion and hard work!
